We spent the last part of September traveling through South Dakota from the Eastern Plains to the Black Hills in the West.

The small towns and winding roads throughout the Black Hills and the Badlands are some of the most beautiful areas we have visited in the USA.

Attractions like Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park and Devil's Tower, Wyoming, made this a very memorable trip.

One of the interesting things that happened was that we were able to meet the last living person who worked on Mount Rushmore. He is 87 years old. His picture is in this album.
